With great sadness, we announce the passing of George Eugeniou. He was an actor, writer, poet, and producer who founded Theatro Technis, a space serving the UK Cypriot community since 1957. It became one of the first venues in the UK dedicated to serving its local, working-class and immigrant communities. George was a pillar of the community and an inspiration to us all. As a prolific artist, he wrote and directed over a hundred plays, poems and adaptations, mainly of Greek classics.  Details of his funeral and a memorial will be announced in due course.  Rest In Peace.
